Well that all sounds pretty good. They appear to have it down in chicago. UNC had it down pretty good as well. Hope you get out soon man.

I had my thymectomy in October of 09. I had a rough 6 months after the surgery, my mg got mad worse, but now it's getting slowly better- I'm on 14 pills a day and ivig every month but I think I'm closer to out of the woods than not.

so youre just now feeling the effects a year and a half after your surgery?

Yessir. First 6 were deadly, middle six alright, last 6 pretty well. It also could be imuran kicking in. Ill hold out hope for both

me too. i hope this thing slows down for you some. whats ur reaction to IVIG cuz i feel fricken awesome even after having the surgery 2 days ago and i hope this feeling never goes away again

Who had the thymectomy maybe 6 months ago and he is already in remission so there are definitely some quick success stories out there- knock on wood.

The ivig isn't as good as the plasmapheresis I dont think but that's just me. It does make it so that I can work out so I'm not complaining about it at all but it's quicker maybe w plasmapheresis.

Hope you got to get out today- it's impressive how fast your getting out, compared to my stay only a year and a half ago! Crazy. Be well man

I actually just got home and i went out to dinner on the way home from the hospital. so im pretty decent right now but its about time to just chill for a few days thats for sure
