Default Pinkeyehey

Hey guys-

If I suspect I have pink eye should I go see a doctor or let it go by? I've never had it but it's very painful and red. Probably got it from work or the gym who knows. But also can it make me more tired?

Thanks

Tyson,

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pin...=complications

I think that says it all. It's HIGHLY contagious and can damage your sight. Because you are immunosuppressed, you are at a higher risk of it getting worse. You need antibiotics.

Go in.

Yes.

Why? Because any infection can tank MG. And you don't want to damage your vision!

Um, it could be strep. In that case, definitely go in.

Do you have a fever? If so, get your behind in right away because if it's the FLU, you need tamiflu within 24 hours (or less). The flu is widespread in a lot of areas right now.

When you are immunosuppressed, fevers, CBC and other signs of infection can be lower or look normal when in fact they are NOT.

I hope you'll be okay. Keep an eye on your MG and breathing.
