Default Back to neuro this week

I am glad I am going back this week. So much has gone on. Added to what I have reported before I discovered today I have a massive, raw rash partially below my breast and around to the side. It is aobut 12x5 inches. I felt an itch today and realized it was tender. I went to comfort it was a cold compress. Then I took a mirror to see what it really looked like. Cant see down there. I was surprised to say the least and a little worried. I gently washed the area with a special soap. I have had trouble with my hands having red areas that never occurred before. Now I am wondering if I am having a reaction to new meds. I called my pharmcist.

I did have some general symptoms improvement this week after committing to resting 24/7 this week. Last week I pushed to shower the morn I went for IV fluids on Firday. The shower was too warm for how cold the aprtment was. To my body I think it was like ahot shower. Showers are really risky for me I try to be conservative with them. I know now that it made me worse.

I am still fragil so I am thinking especially with this new rash I best skip the mega dose of vitamin D treatment this week. My body needs rest and taking it means that trip and 3 hours at the hosp.

Anne, I'm glad you are going back to the doctor this week. About your rash, do you think it could be Shingles? Is it painful? If it is Shingles they can give you medicine to help with the pain.

Do take it easy. It sounds like you need some down time.

Dont believe it is shingles. I have a daughter who has shingles every so often. She had her first incident at 14. She knows more abuot it than many docs. The docs with argue with her that that is what it is tho she has had it over the years and the meds work.

There is no pain. there was just some itching at first before I saw it. I thought it was bra irritation so ignored it a couple days. I had started sweating normally due to the larger mestinon doses which has always made the bra irritation issue bigger. Normally I dont sweat but this last cuople weeks....whew!!!!

Last nite I put a layer of organic coconut oil on it. I will check it and see how it is. Yes back to resting.
