Default How to work this site

When I want to post a question: I first click on NEW THREAD, then I type in my question, THEN a box comes up and it says: " Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the post above to activate quick reply" I do not know what it is talking about and what I am suppose to do, I am never sure if I have actually posted a question or not. I am not very computer savvy, so I am not sure if I am doing all of this correctly - any insight on how to navigate this site would be welcome. IN SIMPLE LANGUAGE WITH SIMPLE DIRECTIONS PLEASE! Thanks guys!! Teelae

this section from the FAQ's might help you out.
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fa..._threads_posts

I used my testing ID, and I think you might seeing the drop down area of the quick reply box.
possibly your page or screen is jumping down to it instead of staying at the main posting or reply section.

there are other small sections (additional options ) (quick reply) that can be opened or closed by the little icon in the upper corner, but below the main post or message areas. There is usually a colored bar that divides the sections and the icon for open /close is in the upper corner of it.

I hope I am describing it clearly enough, it's a bit hard to explain it - post back if you need more help with it.
