Default Happy Day Post!

We see enough post that are bummers and I thought I would throw in one that is not, even though it has nothing to do with MG!
Today my princess and I celebrated our 35th - married at 19 and no it wasn't a shotgun wedding! She ( Mary ) has been a trooper helping me cope with MG even before it was diagnosed and I am very lucky to have her!
Everyone should have a love like I have had!
Good Luck to all!
Randy

Congrats Randy! Lucky guy you. It's tough to find that kind of love. 35 years is huge! Which one is that, gold? I can't remember.

I also think that your post has a lot to do with MG. Staying positive, keeping happy, and having loved ones to support you can make such a huge difference. I know it did for me.

Congratulations again!

Ryan

Thanks for the kind words everyone - and yes Ryan I think you are correct it does have a tie to MG! Not sure about the gold - I'll look again under the mattress when I get home!
We will be heading into Canada in two weeks for a vacation - will be our 31st year of doing that - have been all over US so not only trip we have done but the one we love the most! Rustic log cabins, no phones, TV's, computers just peace and quiet and fresh air...

Congratulations on your 35th anniversary. My husband and I celebrated our 31st this past January and I know that I could not have survived this illness without him. My journey started in 2009 and from the beginning he told me that he would be fighting this with me. Both he and my best friend immediately started researching MG and Thymoma - I say that they both have earned their PHD in the field. He truly fought doctors and other healthcare personnel to help me through several difficult times.

Anyway there are a lot of marriages that breakup when a severe illness happens (even though they promised "in sickness and health") which is sad.

Here's to many more years together with your princess!
