Hey I just got home from the hospital where they did a CT of my chest because Ive been having chest pains since my thymectomy. The scan came back clear except that it looks like I might have something called central venous stenosis. I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on it like symptoms thtd be great. If this is whats causing my pain id really like to know

Have you been having plasmapheresis? Do you have any ports, etc.?
I think you ought to see a cardiologist to discuss this. And soon. Any stenosis in the circulatory system is not good and can cause pain and worse. Did anyone say to take a baby aspirin once or twice a day? Call your primary and ask about that. The latest evidence shows, however, that you shouldn't start taking aspirin and then stop suddenly or things can get worse (i.e., heart attack). Don't you love doctoring? I hope they'll get you some help soon! Annie Last edited by AnnieB3; 07-26-2011 at 11:07 PM. |
