Hey everyone,
One year ago today I entered the hospital for an immune system reboot aka high dose cytoxan, HiCy or Revimmune. After 4 days of high dose chemo, and about 6 weeks of intense and uncomfortable recovery time, all of my symptoms of MG gradually faded away, and thus far have not returned. I still use my old meds, but am weaning off of them slowly. I have resumed my life. I can work, go to the gym, be a mom...anything and everything. My hair has regrown, I've gained the weight I so badly needed and most of the time I don't even think about MG anymore. I hope it lasts! FOREVER! ![]() I will continue to update ever so often if anyone is still interested. I will also let you know if/when the symptoms return. In summary, I feel a reboot is something that should be considered for those with refractory and dangerous MG. My results are beyond my wildest dreams! Hang in there, everyone, and never stop looking for answers! |
