Default Fact about Expensive Treatments

back in November of 2008 i was diagnose with MG, now i need IVIG i never had a health insurance neither my wife, back in June of 2011 i did the thymectomy and i paid for half of it upfront and i'm financing the rest.
Now since I've learned that I needed IVIG and how much it cost i decided to stop everything and possibly move out of USA to look for other cheap country to live and get treated, i'm considering Honduras or some part of central Asia where the medical treatment is close to be free so cheap.
I personally came to realize after a lot of study on my own and a lot of communication over the phone and the internet with patient all over the world that we in the US are a victim of some hungry investors that want to make 3000 to 5000% their invested money by selling us the treatment that we really need this is not human at all, in fact things like that causes the collapse of the banking system in 2008 but it was based on housing lending greed, now it got different name ( Treatment )
Shame on them, making money by making us suffering! no wonder why they did fight the **health plan, this guy want us to be as close as we can get to live a social life but there is no room for social life among someone who sells you $10000.00 IVIG or $6800.00 Plasma Pherisis, it's very unfortunate forcing us to make such a statement about the health system in this country where everything in it should be the best in the whole world.

Well said, Rossini. We're all pretty aware of the abuse of medical power here in the U.S. The greed is like a toxin, so maybe they'll suffer from it at some point too. Not that I want anyone to suffer! But you can't keep praying on the sick, poor and so many others and not have it hurt you too.

I hope you can find a program to help you. Be wary of moving to another country if you don't have a good support system in place there. There are "risks" in other countries that you may not have where you live, so enter that into the equation too. Less expensive doesn't mean that it may not come at a different kind of cost to you, such as the loss of home, family, friends, etc.

I'm sorry you have MG and are suffering. I hope you can find what works for you.

Annie
