Marsha, I came here a a little over a week after you but I wanted to introduce myself.

Have you had MG very long? I have most likely had it since I was 20 or so but did not get diagnosed until I was 63 in 2006.

I am not very computer literate and am trying to figure out how to use this forum. I image I will make a lot of mistakes before I figure it out. Add a little brain fog in the mix and some days I'm not much good.

I have been visiting other forums off and on and have noticed a few others from Kentucky. My husband used to be a regional rep anf traveled a lot and he thought Kentucky was beautiful. 69gto73

I guess I'll join into this thread too and introduce myself. I am a long time user of forums and recognize how valuable a group with common interests can be.

I was recently diagnosed. Went to an eye doctor, GP, and Gastro. Didn't have droopy eyelids, but had trouble swallowing and speech. I thought the swallowing was from my chronic GERD, and the speech was stress. I sell BMW for a living and thought it was getting to me!

I was lucky that the first neuro I went to diagnosed me in a 15 minute interview and exam. Antibodies confirmed!

I'll be lurking and will try to join in when I thin I have something helpful to add.

Default Hi 69gto and Scott

Glad to meet you both. I want to welcome you to Neruo Talk. I go to the site to meet the new people and try to make you feel welcome. I am sorry you both have this MG. None of problems we get are fun to deal with. I hope you have already found out, from listening, that this site is full of information and alot of compassion.
I too have Gerds, and swallowing issues. I also have Barretts, from the Gerds. I hope you can keep that under control so it doesn't hurt you anymore with the swallowing issues Scott.
I hope you meet alot of new friends, and can find useful information at the same time. Glad you found this site, it has been a blessing in my life for sure. ginnie
