The ekg will show what is called a delta wave....the problem is, it did not show up on my previous ekg's and what not. So although everyone is correct that most people who can read ekg's will spot it...I am living proof that it is not just that easy. I had quite a few ekg's prior to the night I was in A Fib. It wasn't until that night that they figured it out. They may provide you with a monitor to take home so that when you experience the problem you can monitor it. Again, I am only providing information that occurred with myself and by what the doctors told me. i hope it gets figured out though. Good luck and let me know what happens.

Tracey, I am wondering if you happen to have a sjogrens diagnosis. There are quite a few people that have types of erratic, tachycardia(rapid heartrate) and other little issues that can confuse the doctors.
People with myasthenia gravis can have sjogrens as their tagalong AID. I would ask your doc to make sure he has covered all the bases of as it can be hard to pinpoint the heart issues with sjogrens. Good luck. gto |
