Unhappy just one of those days

I count my blessing often, and I have many. This is just a day when I'm tired of the constant reminder that MG is. The mestinon every three hours, the daily prednisone and its effects, the newly added Imuran every night that wipes me out until late the next morning, the inability to lift my kid to give her a big swinging hug, the lack of improvement since my thymectomy 5 months ago, knowing that I need to mow the lawn and I'm the only one who can do it and can't afford to pay to have it done, and that it will wear me out for the next day.

But I have medicine to keep me going, I have the right set of doctors to get me what I need, I have a beautiful daughter who supports me in so many ways, and I have a lawn to mow around a house that gives me shelter. I also count this forum as a blessing that there are so many others out there like me, and many dealing with much worse situations than I am. All right, the pity party's done. Best wishes to everyone and prayers that it gets better for all of us

You do have many wonderful blessings...and it's good to acknowledge them.

But each and every one of us has a need to throw a pity party once in a while. And whenever someone throws one...many of us try to be sure to attend with a big box of support!!

Hang in there!!!!!!
