I am prepping for an upcoming appointment this week with my PCP, and discussing next steps with a possible referral to Mayo (which is near me).
In reviewing the blood work my previous Neurology clinic did for MG, it looks like they tested for AChR, but not MuSK. The lab report shows this: Acetylecholine receptor binding = 0.2 (0-0.4 = negative) Acetylcholine modulating antibody = 14 (0-20 = negative, 21-25 = positive) There's also a CK level noted of 70... which I think is an indicator of muscular dystrophy type illnesses. Says normal range for an adult female is 38-120. Am I missing something or does it look like they did not test for the anti-MuSK antibody? (Disclaimer: I know this isn't a medical reference site, and I will refer to the PCP's answer, but you guys know more than me so I wanted to ask. Hope that is ok) : )
