Default got suddenly weaker today

Over the wrekend it was hot, and yesterday my weakness symptoms got a lot worse. Today at work I had a hard time having the strength to walk. At lunch i was having trouble talking because it too took a lot of strength.

In the afternoon i had some trouble taking deep breaths...my chest felt kind of heavy. Once that and the legs shaking during walking, that was enough to head home.

Its some better now tbat I've layed down for an hour, but laying here typing on my cellphone keypad....my arms just want to go kaput.

I just called the general phone nurse at my clinic, and she said to rest and watch it. Am a little nauseated too.

My AChR was negstive and no MuSK has been done, so i dont feel like i can say that i have mg.

Tired arms from holding up phone to type.... going to rest now. Any advice welcome.

Default So sorry.......

I can relate.....the heat knocks me out as well. I have been dx'ed since march 6,2006 and still have my ups/downs. Finding this site and meeting all of the kind people have really helped, though.

Have you been tested for mg yet? Are you on any meds? The first time I tried mestinon I was able to swallow and chew ice.....actually cried

If you ever have problems breathing do not wait.....call 911!!!! Please!

Try and stay nice and cool, put cold coke cans on your eyes and ask someone to stay with you.....

Hope this help!
Erin

Default So sorry

Hi,
we share the same situation and I understood what means to be undiagnosed even if you have all the symptoms of MG.
My blood tests are negative too and i feel weak too when Mestinon effect is finishing.
But don't give up! I can give you the advice to keep looking for a doctor who really listen to your symptoms and finally give you the chance to get a diagnosis.
Good luck!
Cristina
