HI Ana...welcome.

I'm trying to think if I remember anyone in the forum who is from northern California...and I am sorry to say, I can't think of anyone who's from that area. But give it a bit of time....some one here may know of a good doc.

Have you tried contacting your local MDA? They can be very helpful in your search. You can also call teaching hospitals and ask if they have a neuro on staff who specializes in MG.

I googled 'mg neuro san franscisco' and came up with these docs who wrote an MG paper

Robert G. Miller, MD,
Amy Filler-Katz, RN,
Dobri Kiprov, MD and
Ralph Roan, MD

Hope this helps!

Default neurologist

Dr. Susan Hansen in mountain view is excellent. note however that she does not accept insurance; the patient pays her directly and then submits the bill to insurance for reimbursement.
