22 months ago I got hit by a car while on my bicycle. So far the recovery has experienced fits and starts. I was quite in shape at the time of the accident, but have gone rather downhill since.

I have had a hip surgery and a neck fusion at c6-c7. I was scheduled to have l4-5 fused as well and also have my right shoulder scoped. The neurological stuff has put all of that on indefinite hold.

I've gone through the neuro specialist route and been told (I think) that I got hurt. My wife's doctor today asked whether anyone had checked for MG.

My left side gets weak when I exert myself for more than 30 seconds or so. If I push my tongue into the roof of my mouth hard for about 15 seconds and release, then I cannot enunciate words for about 10-20 seconds, as my tongue doesn't work.

I have fasciculations in both legs and somewhat up my left side and always have a slight vacancy of sensation on the left. If I put my left arm up on an armrest for more than a minute or so, it gets horribly fatigued.

Within a few days after the accident and until now (almost two years later), much of the time it feels like I'm drooping.

A) Does (can) MG attack mostly one side of a body?

B) Is it reasonable that this could have all begun with a car accident trauma?

Or was the Neuro right, that I am just hurt and they can't see what it is and I just have to get used to my limitations?

Stress can set off MG.

I am worse on my right side.

Your doctor is going to have to rule out a bunch of other stuff I would think.
