I have severe cramps just before and during menstual cycle (which is abnormally heavy). My neuro said see GYN because those complaints are not due to MG.

Ive lowed mt dose to 30 mg 3 times a day and the pain has gone away and I'm still feeling okay, so I think I'm going to stick with it

Well that answered your question. I'm glad you are doing better.
I don't think 30 mg would cut it for me. I only rarely have abdominal cramps.

Thats the first time I've ever had the abdominal cramps, but the Mestinon was the only thing I could relate it too, so it was worth a try.

When I first started taking Mestinon I was taking 30 mg 3x a day and then as things got worse we upped it to 60 mg 3x a day, but since my Thymectomy in may I have been starting to feel pretty good.

I was going to start by cutting back my IVIG from 3 days every 28 days to just 1 day a month and see how I felt, but I guess we will start by cutting back the Mestinon, maybe this is the first signs of remmission for me I can only hope and pray that it is

I think that the mestinon makes me more sensitive to other things. For example, I will be fine with the mestinon, but if I eat Mexican food or a salad, then I get gut trouble. Either of those food types are fine without the mestinon. It is the combination that kills me. I hope that this is a sign that you don't need so much drugs any more.
