Default MG and excessive sweating

It seems right before my symptoms are the worst, I feel unreasonably hot and sweat, sometimes for hours excessively while I am sitting in an air conditioned house with the fan on. Does anyone else have this problem too?

I have had the problem, but this is the first time that I thought about it being MG related.

Are you on prednisone? I had the same symptoms when I was on high dose steriods.

No I am not on any meds yet. I am still waiting on a definitive diagnosis. I have the droppy eye, muscle weakness especially as the day wears on. I stumbled, trip and drop things. The symptoms became more severe after surgery and with the summer heat. I have been making the rounds of doctors and blood tests and have finally been referred to a neurologist with suspected MG. The RA, SLE and LYme were negative with an elevated sed rate and c-reactive protein.

I have periodic sweating sessions; they don't seem to be related to how bad the MG is acting up... they just happen. *shrug*

Long before my dx, i have always been hot and the sweating has gotten worse with mestinon. I keep my AC at 72 during day and still i am often sweaty (so much I worry I am stinky!)
