Thinking of you and your darling little boy tonight Anacrusis.

A copy of the report made by the neurologist after my son´s examination came in the post yesterday. It clearly states ´double vision´ a number of times on the report (on left gaze etc - from different angles), ptosis of left eye, and also something about problems sustaining upward gaze. It also states that he will be examined by a physiotherapist and those results will be the basis on whether or not they will do bloodwork for MG. That sounds a little odd to me. I think I should insist on the blood tests anyway. Please speak up if you disagree!

Doesn't make much sense to me, but what do I know? :Dunno:

Just read a post somewhere of someone who was seen by a neurologist, who thought he should see a rheumatologist, who thought he should see an endocrinologist, who thought he should see a neurologist.

You could probably create a physican-patient perpetuum mobile like that with patients going in a maze from one to the other for ever. (possibly it could even create some energy?).

In 8 years total of my own symptoms I have spoken only on 2 occasions to 2 neurophysiologists in real life that I believe really know what they are talking about and will more than likely make valuable contributions to research in MG. (unfortunately these were not treating neurologists)

It looks to me like we will continue to go around in circles for a little while longer. But I´m also quite sure that with determination and inevitable change we will eventually find ourselves on straighter paths with feelings of peaceful resolution – perhaps, even like this……
