Just finished up my 5th treatment of plasmapheresis. I went into this one this morning light headed and dizzy. I am chalking some of that up to the difficulty I have had sleeping with the catheter in place. Hoping for a call soon to get the catheter removed so perhaps I can get a good nights sleep. I guess now it is a waiting game as I take the prednisone and see if we can get things under control.
I am feeling a bit drained after 10 days of this but I suppose that is normal. |

If you are light-headed and dizzy, your fluid and electrolyte balance could be off! You need to tell the doctor that right away. To have that kind of imbalance is no small thing. So, please, always let the nurses and doctors know of any new symptoms, no matter how silly it might sound!
