Default Medicare coverage

You did not mention which Medicare plan you were on. If you look on page 65 of your 2013 Medicare & You booklet you will see the different plans available.

Only Plan F covers 100% of everything. This is the Plan that I have. It is also the most expensive plan. It costs me $173.00 a month. With this Plan, 2 important things.
1. Medicare covers IGIV with just your doctors prescription. Period. No questions asked.
2. Your supplement coverage is obligated to cover the 20% Medicare does not cover.

End result, I pay nothing.

If your Blue Cross supplement is Plan F you will not have to worry. If not, I think you have one more week to change your coverage. Dec. 13 or 15.
