It's interesting isn't it, Celeste?! You are correct; anticholinergics are not desirable, in most cases. The majority of posters on this forum will be surprised to know that much of the OTC (over-the-counter) product in their medicine cabinets are anticholinergics, or have anticholinergic effects.

One of the "favourite" anithistimines for people who have IVIG has anticholinergic properties. Cough medicines, some pain medications, some with sleep aids, and it goes on and on, have these properties. Further, few report any problems with these meds. Posters can punch in their medications along with the word "anticholinergic" to see if any of the OTCs might be a culprit.

Some cholinergics are designed to hit the smooth muscles, which are said not to be involved in MG.
