Hi everyone. I hope you are all well
I finally got a date for my Nerve Muscle test today and it got me wondering have any of you had the RNS test?? My Neuro seemed to want to do the RNS test first and talked me through the decrement pattern they look for etc - I have read about EMG's/SFEMG's and found some information on the preparation people recommend for those tests, but I wondered if that preparation also applies to RNS testing too? Has anyone had the RNS test or has anyone got any tips or advice that may help me? Thank you (once again!) to you all.x |

Had the test but it was negative. I had a strongly positive tensilon test and great response to mestinon. My MG specialist said since I had only been off mestinon for less than 24 hours it was not really valid. I found my doctor by looking for who was doing MG research, speaking at conferences or running MDA clinics. Good luck
