Confused Thymoma in double seronegative??

Hi everyone - I am looking for information on whether thymoma has been found in double seronegative patients?? It seems common in those with positive ACHR and but seems rare in the MUSK patients....does anyone know about the double seronegative patients??

I am thinking of asking my Neuro for a CT as I only had a chest x-Ray and I have persistent Costochondritis which is an inflammation of the chest wall - it started at the same time as my MG started up again and also seems to get worse with flare ups, I know this could be coincidence but I feel that it may warrant a CT scan? But if it is unlikely to find thymoma in double seronegative patients then maybe it's not worth pushing for the CT??

Thanks everyone - I don't know what I would do without all of your knowledge!!

I am double seronegative as well. My doctor did a cat scan anyway. The thymus appeared to be normal. The problem is that the whole CT scan opened another can of worms. I had two small masses in my left lung. I am not a smoker, or they would have insisted on immediate surgery. They were too small to biopsy and my pulmonologist did not think it was worth splitting my chest open on account of them. Instead I had a repeat CT scan in 6 months. There was no change. I have another follow up in 6 more months.

If it is anything bad, I guess this cellcept I started on will help it go ahead and grow it enough to figure it all out.......
