I've been on prednisone for almost two years, starting with an 80 mg dose and tapering slowly. Because of the dose, I gained over 40 pounds in less than a year. Now that my dosage is much lower (3.5 mg), I've recently start taking phentermine to help kick-start the weight loss process. I quickly noticed that while taking the phentermine that my energy level has increased greatly. After two years of a poor energy level and almost constant fatigue, I suddenly felt closer to my pre-mg self than I have in a long time. Since the phentermine is a limited time thing, I am afraid that I will lose the energy boost. Does anyone here know of any supplements, etc. that will give me the energy boost? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Do you use the phentermine on prescription?
Phentermine is similar to an amphetamine. it is a stimulant. So it does make sense you get this kind of energy. Maybe you can try if your doctor can prescribe you ephedrine to try? My friend with Mg uses ephedrine for years now. It does not give her strength, but it does give her a bit of extra energy. |
