POINT.
One day I felt a little numbness around my upper lip. Four hours later I was slurring my words so badly I could not be understood or eat my dinner. Funnily my travel companions were more in shock! I just knew I had not had a stroke.
Got home a few days later, blood was drawn- Results of blood test proved I had MG.
Was diagnosed: MG "bulbuos". Doc said unusual that it came on as I described above-so rapidly.
That was about 15 months ago. I have been taking the 3 usual meds and trying to come off Prednisone 80mg once a day now.(I'm in my mid 70's).
Any comments on re Mg "bulbous".

I can only imagine that he meant Bulbar... not bulbous. Bulbar refers to swallowing, speech impairment and upper respiratory tract problems.

Like JJ said, it's probably bulbar.
My initial diagnose is MG bulbar though it's generalized (everywhere) it started with chewing, talking, swallowing and breathing problems. I am more bulbar than occular. Though now they call to it generalized because my legs are very much involved.
What do you want to know?
