I guess you probably thought of this already, but how about audiobooks? Many libraries allow you to download them for free, and there's librivox.org. I think listening to a book can be even more relaxing than reading one, at least for some people. For me, it's so relaxing that I fall right asleep, and never hear the end of the chapter.

lol. Yes I thought of that. Doesn't work for me. I start hearing the tinnitus more and get more agitated.
