Ivig didn't help me, and I got aseptic meningitis the second time I tried it. I had one good day about two weeks after. Not worth it for all the sickness from it.
Although plasmapheresis is more invasive, gotta get a venous access for it, it really helps me, especially right after.
I can't take that much dap at a time because I also have Sjögren's syndrome and dap really aggravates it. Makes my hands and feet cold and painful. I only take 60 mg spread out over the day every two hours. I also have to spread my mestinon, 30 mg every two hours over the day. I take a 180 mg timespan mestinon at night.
I have to use a cpap and oxygen at night for breathing.
Glad you got a better doctor. I have heard good things about Hershey, but I am far away from there.
Wow, that's a lot of mestinon you are taking. My doctors think I take a lot. If you take too much, it will make you weaker. I take 270 mg throughout the day from 6am till 10 pm, then the 180 mg at midnight. Thanks for sharing.
