Hi,
Does anyone have information concerning financial assistance with IVIG treatment? I have major insurance and they covered a part of the 38,000
Dollars for one round. The co-pay is a substantial amount. I really need to get another round but need more info. before going forward. Any drug companies or agencies that anyone has found help with?
Thanks,
Debbie

I would suggest finding out from the infusion center what brand they used and who the manufacturer is. You can then contact the manufacturer and find out if they have an assistance program. I know Gammunex (sp?) does, but others should also.

Another suggestion is to contact the infusion center and find out if they have any information on assistance programs. I know there are several out there, but a lot depends on what state you live in.

Good luck!

Thanks, I will try your suggestions. Have a great team of doctors but the treatment as you know is so expensive.

Are you in California, if so is it sonoma city or sonoma county. I live in sonoma county and have been on mestinon for 9 years but have moving around a bit so I don't have a specialist just my pcp that just refill my meds for me. I've only had one crisis in my life so far. I would like to find a doc to continue and possibly evaluate my next move
