Default Does anyone have info on neonatal MG?

I haven't posted in a while but I had my baby a week ago. My MG was very stable throughout my pregnancy and so far it is fine after giving birth as well. I only take Mestinon. However, my son is in the NICU and the doctors think he has neonatal MG from the antibodies being passed thru the placenta. It has been really scary because he is having trouble breathing and they have him on a ventilator... He also has trouble swallowing and has a weak suck so he is being fed via a feeding tube right now. Has anyone ever dealt with this and when can we expect to see an improvement? Has anyone ever heard of the antibodies being passed through breast milk? They just started my son on an infant dose of Mestinon to see if he responds and they sent his bloodwork to see if he has the antibodies, but that won't be back for at least a week. This all makes me hate MG even more.....
