Default Physical Therapy?????

My rheumatologist( I have RA also) sent me for PT, I told the PT my issues with MG etc., I haven't been in PT for years so it is unfamiliar to me but, I have some questions, yesterday I Had PT today my eyes are drooping???? Also, my concern is cleanliness at the PT's and I have nothing to compare it too so maybe someone can explain to me if I am being overly concerned. 1. they clean the tables with a spray solution but they use the same dirty rag. 2. they have some sheets typed to the sides of tables I guess they use these for some type of restraints, but they are laying on the floor and they are dirty........3. Where i stand to put my hands on doorway it is filthy.... there is no privacy two of us in a little room, etc., etc., Also when I try to explain different things to them they just go on with their care plan...regardless.
Please help....should I be changing PT

Doesn't sound like my pt experience last December -They had sheets laying on the table and changed them with each patient. Also, office and treatment area was very clean - I don't think I would stay with them if they are dirty, but that's your choice.

Good luck.

Heart

Ditto. What a total mess. There are laws in place about all of this! If it were me, I'd inform whomever is in charge of this lack of professional care and infections waiting to happen.

There are really good PTs out there, and I hope you find one!
