Angry Social Security Disability Insurance at risk

When a group of entitled, out of touch politicians incorrectly decide that disabled people are defrauding the government, and want to not only take away some people's SSDI, but want to greatly reduce what we receive, well, I literally can't take that sort of nonsense.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/0...n_6426380.html

If you are on SSDI, it might behoove you to contact your State's senators and representatives. Yes, our President does have veto power, but our voices need to be heard on this topic—for those of you who can speak at the moment!

They spend millions of dollars on useless gadgets and pet projects, but think that those who became disabled—through no fault of their own—and who have worked far harder than Congress has, should pay for politicians' fiscal negligence? We invested our money into Social Security while we could work and deserve to have it there for us when we either become disabled or retire!!!

There are enough people on this forum alone to make a difference. And we're certainly far more intelligent (and not bought and paid for by big business) and could come up with a much better plan—if they were to pay us for thinking instead of "doing."

Perhaps it's my PTSD, the right to survive, or, probably, my righteous indignation when idiots toy with the lives and livelihoods of Americans who they're supposed to represent, but this health issue (which it is) I could not turn away from, nor could I keep quiet about.

I personally don't pay my senators and representatives to threaten my existence, or my health. A move like this would cripple our country and then IT would need to have SSDI!!

Thanks for listening to my bipartisan rant. None of you need this level of stress, but I thought you should be aware of it. Let's hope that smarter minds prevail.
