I have been on prednisone for 8 years now. I am currently on 15 mg in the morning. Has anyone been able to wean themselves completely off of prednisone?

Hi xrpodn,
Also on Pred for 8 years now, presently at 6.5 mg/d and still weaning... I was down to 5 mg/d 5 years ago but relapsed due a vaccine shot. Are you weaning off or locked to that 15 mg/d? Maurice. |

2 years ago, I went down too fast. I learned to listen to my body, and allow myself to go up or down as needed. |
