Default Cellcept -- side effects?

I am wondering if cellcept can cause weight gain, water retention, and high blood pressure. I have had all of these issues since being on the drug. I take medication for the water retention and the high blood pressure. I am not eating more food, so I was just wondering if this could be drug related.

I haven't had any of those problems. I had to stop Imuran because of side effects.

I have been on cellcept 2000 mg per day for almost 2 years with no side effects and actually think it is helping (along with 20 mg prednisone and IVIG 2g/kg every 3 weeks)

Stephanie

Ive gained lots of weight but i think because i eat too much :-)

I've been on Cellcept for 3 years. No weight gain, but my cholesterol is very high even though my weight is fine and I eat well. Apparently, high cholesterol can be a side affect. I'm going to check with my neuro.
