Default Imuran and Cancer

I got this article today. Thought some may be interested. I can vouch for this study. I have had 8+ skin cancers removed, some in places the sun never touched.

Thanks for posting this. My husband has not filled his prescription for Imuran yet because he's already had several melanoma cancers which needed the Mohs treatment plus numerous smaller ones they just burn off. The derm did say if he starts taking it, she can check him more often--but he already goes for checks every 3 months now.

Yes I go every 3 months. Last couple visits he found one. My neuro-muscular Dr told me about the side effects and told me it was a swap off and depended on the quality of life I wanted. Prior to this study the Drs told me it wasn't clear how much stock to put into these drugs causing skin cancer.
