Default allergies and MG

When I am about to need an IVIG, my allergies, nasal running and/or congestion seem to be a lot worse and then after the IVIG they improve. Does anyone else experience this?

Nikos, You could think of it as piling on the autoimmune "load."

Anything that makes the immune system work harder can make MG worse. The immune system doesn't like a lack of sleep, overexertion, infection, inflammation, cancer, etc.

IVIG makes MG better, thereby reducing the load on the system. Then that same system can work on your allergies.

Although, I hope you have an allergist who can address that, too!
