Default ACHR blood test interpertation

hi all,

I am new to this site, I was wondering if anyone can lead me to an understanding of an ACHR blood test .

My results as as follows:

ACETYLCHOLINE REC BIND AB- result <0.30 , reference range <=0.30 nmol/L

AChR BLOCKING ANTIBODIES- result<15, reference range <15 % inhibit

ACETYLCHOLINE REC MOD AB -18 % binding inhibition

does the .30 result mean I tested at .30 and just anything less then .30?

same thing for the blocking result?

thanks for any and all help!

ED

One way of testing for possible MG is to measure the levels of antibodies in the blood which either bind to the acetylcholine receptor "ACETYLCHOLINE REC BIND AB" or block the ability of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine to bind to it "AChR BLOCKING ANTIBODIES". Elevated levels of either kind of antibody can be diagnostic of MG.

The results of both of these tests for you are comfortably in the normal/negative range.

There is more on this here Acetylcholine Receptor Antibody: Reference Range, Interpretation, Collection and Panels.
