Default IVIG and Radiation

Has anyone had ivig and radiation at the same time? For example ivig on Monday then Radiation on Tuesday? Did it cause any problems?

I can't see how it would. Hydration is important, of course, with both therapies. Good luck!

I had 28 days of radiation and continued my weekly IVIG through the whole time. That meant I had IVIG and radiation every Friday for 4 weeks. No problems!

I'm sure you'll be fine, Mike! Good luck with the radiation. Don't forget that B12 will help cells, and the cancer, heal!

We decided to wait on radiation. My MG is so bad. I don't think IVIG is going to help. Oh well gotta try something.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Mike! Do you think there could be anything else making MG worse (besides having multiple antibodies)? Have you had your thyroid or adrenal function tested lately?

There really isn't a great treatment for MG, without some risk of serious side effects. We could all use some ET intervention with healing therapies about now!!!
