Unfortunately, IVIg is just a temporary fix to your symptoms. I have to do two infusions every 3 weeks to manage my symptoms.
The great thing is it's working. If you're like me you may need less infusions in the future if the symptoms can be controlled with other meds. Sorry to hear about your insurance company issues. It's surprising to hear they wanted you to be admitted. The cost of doing an infusion while in the hospital is going to be far more than doing it as outpatient. |
