Default New Medication?

It has been suggested that I consider taking Rituxan NB for treatment of my MG. Anyone have any experience positive or negative with this drug? It is my understanding that it is an experimental drug used in the treatment of cancer patients. I am currently taking 2000 mg Cellcept daily, a taper 25 mg Prednisone every other day and 60/60/60 Pyridostigmine during the day and 180 mg extended release Pyridostigmine at night. Thank you in advance for any comment they are appreciated.

Rituxan (also known as Rituximab) is a genetically engineered monoclonal antibody which binds to a protein called CD20 which is found to the surfaces of B cells.

It has been used in treatment of some cancers and some autoimmune diseases.

This information about it may help you.

I use Rituxan. It has given me back my whole life. Within a few months I was off of all other MG meds. My last infusion kept me going for 11 months.

Rituxan works best in MuSK MG patients.
