I have been trying to have one drink once in a while, but believe I probably feel worse the next day. What are your thoughts on this?

Never had a problem. I would occasionally flush when drinking red wine, but I am to understand that it is the tannins in the red wine reacting with mestinon. Doesn’t cause a problem except a red face. Jim

If you feel worse the next day, then for you, having a drink even just once in a while, is not a good thing to do. It may not affect everyone, but if it is noticeably having a negative effect on you, you should probably just face up to not having that drink for the sake of your health. Sucks to give up stuff you enjoy, but sucks worse to end up too sick to get through your day, or worse, end up in the hospital.
