Default What happened to MDjunction MG website?

Folks, I was a member of a web group called MDjunction and then without notice the site was taken down in February, 2020. When I was first diagnosed with MG the individuals posting in that site were extremely helpful and comforting to me. Anyone know what happened to the site? Did it change it's name or move to another web domain. Any information about MDjunction would be appreciated.

Default Mdjunction disappearance

I, too, found so much help and comfort when I was first diagnosed from many of the members on mdjunction. I was so disappointed when I saw that it had been dissolved earlier this year.
I have found over an 8 year period that there is a glut of MG support groups now, which I think has watered down some of the support that could be given to those in need. From doom and gloom on some of them, to cat fighting on the others.
I’m not sure, but I think it was absorbed into other sites, but don’t remember which ones .

I miss the site so much. I joined the crps group and it was very helpful. Over the years I joined other groups and there was some fighting going on in them. It got really bad and one of the moderators started banning ppl from the site at random. They did turn it around, but by the time they did many were left feeling disenfranchised. One of the group moderators went completely out of control and made a lot of really inappropriate comments to ppl and seemed to go unchecked. Toward the end I heard that the advertising income had dried up. We were notified that the site was going to go away on a set date, but then it just disappeared before that date. So no one really had time to make plans to stay in touch. Really a shame. Ppl were talking about going to a specific website, but I can't recall the name. I will see if I can find it for you. Take care.

As we have a longstanding policy to try to avoid bringing issues over here that occur on other forums, we are going to close this thread now, especially as it seems the other forum is no longer operating. Thanks for understanding.
