Default Bad batch of Mestinon?

Just an FYI, my last batch of Pyridostigmine ended up being bad. Unfortunately, my prescription is a 3 month. I just felt so tired, more symptomatic than I had been in 40 years. Couldn't keep my head up for an hour. Refilled prescription, and suddenly I'm fine again. It's been over a month and the symptoms have mostly been mitigated.

It came from Zydus Pharmaceuticals. Prescription was obtained in May or June of this year.

Anyone else find something similar?

What you need to do is ask your doc to request that you only be given the brand generic you know works in the future. Let him/her know so they can note it in your chart.

There are variances in generics. They are not manufactured equally. It is important to use what works!
