Never again!!
It's good to remember that what works for one person may not work for another.
Hugs,

I remember you from BrainTalk. Just wanted to say "hello." :)

I was given Flagil, not sure of the spelling a couple of years ago. It made me terribly sick. I'm on an antibiotic now and it is Aug something. Doing alright with that.

Hugs, Jean

I'm back on the Doxyclycline for bronchitis, my usual spring allergy problem! It's still working well for me. My GP seems to feel that since we've found this one I can tolerate, she'll prescribe it as long as it works well for me.
Hugs to all,

I need to make a correction. I am on Amox-Clav right now not the Aug whatever. The only thing I'm not sure of is I have been dizzier than usual Not sure if it is from that or a problem with my ears.

Sorry for the mistake.

Jean

Levaquin is a dangerous and high-risk drug

[QUOTE=niteowl;37319]Gabe...By now you know that sulfa drugs are not MG-friendly. Levaquin is a safer antibiotic for folks with MG. My neuro told me that the cephalosporins and quinalones are the [more MG friendly] antibiotics. Levaquin treats UT infections, respiratory infections and sinusitis.

------

LEVAQUIN IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND HIGH-RISK ANTI-BIOTIC, along with all the others in the Fluoroquinolone class of drugs. I took only ten pills, one per day for ten days, over four years ago - and I am still suffering the consequences.

Levaquin, besides giving me a seizure and affecting my central nervous system to the point where I had difficulty reading, thinking, and speaking, has left with me permanant Fibromyalgia and MCS. I cannot describe the pain I had and what I went through because of this drug, which my doctor told me was 'just like any other anti-biotic, but better'.

Will it kill the infection? No doubt. But, if it hits you the wrong way, you will suffer for the rest of your life. Please do your research before considering this drug - which should be used in life or death situations ONLY. The FDA has received more than 28,000 complaints, INCLUDING NUMEROUS CASES OF SPONTANEOUS TENDON RUPTURE, and Lisa Madigan, the State Attorney General for Illinois, has petitioned for ten years to get a Black Box Warning on this drug. It has crippled people for LIFE, and has been the cause of death in far too many individuals.

For more information, please search through ANY popular consumer review website, where you will read about thousands of people describing the horrors of this drug, or visit:

**'Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Research Foundation' you will find a very informative website which contains more than 5,000 articles about this dangerous class of drug.

Myasthiena Gravis/ Musk antibodies

I am new here so i will need a little help navagating around, I have the Musk antibodie causing my proplem. So taking antibiotics is even more tricker than it all ready is. I would like to know if there a site where you can go to and type in the diseases and the cause, and find what works or does not work. I was told by Dr King Ingel @ UCLA that this a more rare type and posses a few more problems, since the thymas gland is not the problem or the cause. If any one can help me with this problem that would greatly appreciated.

I'm sure someone will drop by and answer your question. I know there are some that will make you worse. Mean while welcome aboard. You came to the right place for answers.
