Question diaphramatic paralysis and mg

HI, I am new to the site and I am looking to help my father. He has diaphramatic paralysis and mg and is not improving. Has anyone know anyone with this condition and what were some of the treatments they used that may have worked.

thanks for the input

I am sorry your Dad is going through a hard time. Is your father just diagnosed, or did he just start meds. It is sort of hard to answer. Is your Dad vented and maybe just started treatments. Anything that caused the worsening. Myasthenia can cause this. I cannot type too much right now but with crises usually the treatment is plasmapheresis, Ivig, being placed on a vent to let the muscles rest. There are other treatments also. I just wanted to respond and wish your Dad and your family well too. Keep us posted. ok
