Question

Hi Gabe,

Your post really caught my eye. I had a hysterectomy(and as part of the surgery, an unplanned appendectomy) in Oct. 2006-after years of battling endometriosis (pain, difficulty w/ preg, multiple surgeries, meds, injections, & so on). Prior to the surgery, I had a colonoscopy. Anyway, at that time, I did not have an MG diagnosis. However, I has my 1st episode in Feb. 2007. This resulted in 4 day hospitalization and an eventual diagnosis og MG. I have asked my neuro & my OBGYN if there is a connection. I have yet to get a definitive answer. It does make me wonder though-especially when people like you have the same question. Clearly there needs to be more research!!!!

By the way, I have also developed some food allergies, and had more issues w/ already exsisting allergies, since my diagnosis. Have you heard of this w/ others diagnosed w/ MG??? Wierd huh?

I wish you peace & good health,
Nancy Lee
