Yes, there is a new pex treatment that has been invented that removes only the ACHR antibodies and leaves the remainder of the blood undisturbed. Less effects on the patient is the good part.
It's only being tested right now, so don't look for it in your local clinic for at least 2-3 years, and it will be useless for MuSK antibodies or others with seronegative MG. There's an article about it in this month's Quest magazine (MDA). I tossed my copy as I'm currently sick to death of MG and didn't want to think about it or I'd be able to tell you the name of the procedure. Take care, Missy |

Hi Eeyore, havn't heard of the new treatment, I will have to go surfing to find out a bit more about it.
Hi Missy, Must be going round, being sick to death of mg, as I to have had enough, and am sick of having flareups for no apparent reason. Maybe we could sell all of ours as a big lot on E-bay!!!!!!! |

Thanks for the info...it willnot likely benefit me though. My binding Abs were negative, and my modulating were only mildly elevated. We just sent out the antiMUSK blood this week.
How long does it take for those results to come back? |
