Default Still in the hospital..

following my "outpatient" surgery last Mon. I was prepared to stay over 1 nite if I feel good afterwards...not 6 nites

My breathing didn't crash too hard, thankfully, but the rest of my muscles weren't too happy about the ordeal (for a day or so I could barely move my legs)...and it hurt alot more than was advertised...it felt like I was in labor the first few days.

Now the pain is much better and I was able to walk with a walker ~20ft. At least I'm making progress--just too slow for my liking.

Is this typical for MG?

I'm just really ****** off to be knocked down this low again

I'm probably going to miss my GI/swallowing appoint at Hopkins this Wed...I don't think I will be up for the trip by then.

Sorry you've been in the hospital!!!

Glad you are at least noticing some progress.

Good luck and be well, little eeyore donkey.

Default Clogged again

The new J-tube got clogged last nite...I don't know what they are going to do now..apparently since it was just placed it can't be easily unclogged

Needless to say I'm, a little depressed

I am so so sorry your going through so much. I am praying for you that this will be over soon and you'll feel better. Is it possible if your still in the hospital that they can do your GI test there?

Default Hope you are feeling better today! I miss you!

Hey there! I just read your post.....I'm so sorry to hear you've been through such an ordeal......I just don't understand why they can't give you a diagnosis and treat you.......You've had such a hard time....I still pray for you all the time). What (if anything) are the docs saying? Have they given you any indication that you are anywhere NEAR a proper diagnosis and course of treatment? What meds do they have you on? How are your kids/hubby taking this? Do you have anyone staying with you at the hospital? Have you finally found a decent neuro? I've really been worried about you and think/pray for you all the time. You've been so brave through all of this. Hang in there and when you feel like it let me know how you are!

Have you explored the possibility of Chiari Malformation?
