Default Looking for Neurologist in Florida

Does anyone know a neurologist in the Central Florida area who deals with MG? Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville seems to come up in my searches, but we're near Orlando and I was wondering if there was someone local, or if Mayo is the place who specifically.

Thanks.

Try USF in Tampa, I know there are several Neuros here and it is a teaching University. If there is not a specific one, I would think they could refer you to someone closer to you in Orlando.

Default Dr. Sidhu

I live in Central Florida and I was diagnosed by a Dr. Sidhu. Her practices number is 407-897-1100. She is a little short on the bedside manor but she seems to know what she is doing. I have only been seeing here for about 4 months as I was recently diagnosed.

Regards,

J

I might be slightly partial but I believe my neuro is the BEST. She is in Tampa and she has taken such good care of me from the very begining of my diagnosis of MG. Her staff is very good also. She returns telephones calls, is very knowlegable about MG and has a great bedside manner. Actually, I can't say enough good about her. Her name and number are following:
She is located very close to the USF area:

Dr. Sujatha Borra
(813) 983-0894

Good luck. But I do think you will like her.

If you live close to the Polk County area...the Neurological Center of Winter Haven has some very good neuros...

Dr John Tanner in Tampa was in Winter Haven and I saw him when I lived there...he is very good. I didn't however like Dr Susac, Dr Ubay is also very good.

Good luck finding one close to you.
