Smile Does Your Period Make It Worse?

I was just wondering what other women's experience is with MG and their period. I seem to notice that it makes things a lot worse.

Yes! I know with me, my symptoms of MG are magnified with the onset of my period, my whole body feels as though I have the flu.

Any hormonal shift (mid cycle shift is the worst) throws me for a loop. I'm hopeful that menopause will bring some relief (and I don't get STUCK in the "LOOP" stage.)

Sigh...

I've always felt WAY worse around my period and whenever I asked any of my doctors about it they always said there was no connection, but I KNEW there had to be. It might just be because my body is so busy dealing with everything else that it can't cope with my MG. I also have endometriosis so my periods have always been pretty rough. Anyhoo - hope everyone had a gerat Holiday. I'm just sort of getting back into my routine now!

Periods are a time of "couch" for me, I sit on the couch and wait for my strength to return. It doesn't help that I'm laid low with bad period pain. Now that I know how bad it is for me, I've learnt that sitting and relaxing is in fact a good thing.
