Default No more stitches!

Well I went to my doctor today (primary care) and he cut the knots on my stitches so now I don't have to worry about them snagging anything.

Hopefully it will heal the rest of the way pretty quickly, but as of tomorrow I can take a shower without having to Seranwrap my leg! How exciting, a normal shower

Well except I wont be able to shave that part of my leg for a while. That could be a hairy situation

He also sent me home with equipment to do an overnight pulse oximatry (sp?) test. He thinks my breathing problems could be muscle weakness. He will be getting the results and so will my Neuro-Muscular Neurologist. Then he wants to see me in a month after we have the results of my muscle biopsy and this test. I really like this doctor because he is honestly concerned and he listens, but unfortunately he does not know what I could have or how to treat it. That's why he wants me to see a good specialist.

Anyway, I am kind of excited that my incision flattened out a little when he cut the knots from the stitches. That's what was pulling it together and making it so lumpy. I will still have a scar with some lumps, just not as bad as it looked before this morning.

I hope everyone is feeling well today.
